LVD Lamps
What are the benefits?

Lamp life: Unlike conventional incandescent or discharge lamps, LVD
Induction lamps do not require a filament or electrodes to ignite. Life
expectancy for these lamps is around 100,000 hours, with superior lumen
maintenance to discharge lamps.

Colour: LVD Induction lamps have a rendering index of RA80+ with a
colour temperature of 4100k.

Warm-up/re-srtike time: There is no warm-up or re-strike time. It is
instant, even in temperatures as low as -35 degrees C or as high as 50
degrees C.

Efficacy: LVD Induction lamps generally are rated at 60-80 lumens per
watt, similar to conventional metal halide lamps, without the lumen
depreciation.

Operating voltage: LVD Induction lamps will not drop out the way that a
normal discharge lamp will, even at 100 volts or as high as 280volts. If it
does drop out it will immediately re-strike upon restoration of its
operating voltage range.

Flexibility: The LVD Induction lamp is available in several configurations
and wattages, ranging from 15w, 23w, 40w, 80w, 120w and 200 watt
versions. There are versions where the ballast in integral, or in the case
of the higher wattages can be had with a E40 lamp base with remote
ballast for simple installation or retrofitting.

Colour Shift: There is none.

Stroboscopic effect: There is none.

Flicker: There is none.

Power factor correction: 0.98
